This pattern will let you sew a cute little pony with a size of about 20cm or 8 inches tall.
Some sewing knowledge is advised, but I tried making this pattern as beginner-friendly as possible.
This plush can be completely machine sewn, apart from a small opening in the back of the neck. This means the head and neck are sewn together before turning the plush right-side out. If you’re making a unicorn, even the horn is sewn in before turning right-side out.

♡ Pattern pieces for the head, body, closed wings and unicorn horn.
♡ BONUS pattern pieces for a mane and tail, including instructions to pattern your own.
♡ Step by step instructions on sewing your pony, with lots photos and illustrations.
♡ Extra pages with handy tools and helpful links.
This pattern does not include embroidery files. The pattern does include a template for the eyes, nostrils and mouth, as well as a placement marking for a possible cutie mark.

For one chibi pony you will need:
♡ 1/4 yard of plush fabric (or a ‘Fat Quarter’) for the pony
♡ 1/4 yard for the mane and tail (depending on mane style)
♡ Fiberfill stuffing (eg Poly-Fil)
♡ Poly-pellets (weighted stuffing beads; optional but recommended)
♡ Standard sewing materials (Needle & thread, sewing pins, scissors, fabric marker)
This pattern was tested with Minky, which is a plush fabric that stretches in one direction. Other stretchy fabrics like Fleece should work too. It can be made with other fabrics as well, but without stretch it will give different results.
I use this pattern with a sewing machine, but if you want to sew it all by hand, you can do that too.
